Fabiano Cangelosi
Director
Fabiano Cangelosi was admitted to the legal profession in August 2011.
Fabiano first practised at the Launceston firm of Rae & Partners for 4 years in the area of general litigation, then spent 4 years at the Hobart firm of Simmons Wolfhagen, specialising in local government matters, construction litigation, general criminal defence, and regulatory prosecution.
From 2018 to 2022 Fabiano elected to practise solely as a barrister and appeared as counsel in a number of notable trials and appeals, before founding The Cangelosi Firm, to add an additional layer of capability and support in the conduct of litigation.
Fabiano has spent over a decade refining trial and appellate strategy. He is often the Counsel of choice for numerous Solicitors in the State and is also often engaged as a consultant for legal and political advice.
Fabiano has over the years addressed the Legislative Council on vital legislation that could affect human rights, criminal procedure, and law reform.
Dinesh Loganathan
Director
Dinesh moved to Tasmania from Singapore in 2012 to undertake his Bachelors of Law and Business at the University of Tasmania. He was actively involved with the Tasmania University Law Society and the Australian Law Students Association during his University days and was passionate about advocating for students. Being a migrant himself, Dinesh understands the struggles and difficulties faced by people migrating to Tasmania. He is passionate about assisting migrants and being a voice for them.
Dinesh was admitted as a barrister and solicitor to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2017 and to the Hight Court of Australia in 2019. He commenced his legal career at a boutique law firm in Tasmania and was a key driving force in its expansion.
In 2021 Dinesh started Logan & Partners, a specialised firm providing legal advice and representation, business advisory and consultancy services. In 2023, Dinesh ventured into Victoria bringing the expertise of Logan & Partners to the next level.
Dinesh is a solicitor advocate known for his forceful advocacy and critical analysis of the law. Dinesh achieves the best outcomes for his clients through creative and witty arguments, and uses every available technique to achieve a just outcome.
Having appeared in various courts and tribunals in Tasmania and Victoria, Dinesh has valuable knowledge and insight as to how best to resolve your legal problems.
Dinesh also consults for various law reforms groups, political organisations, and businesses. Dinesh has also addressed the Legislative Council in Tasmania several times voicing concerns on a number of government bills.
Dinesh is currently training to obtain a Real Estate and Financial Services Licence to further enhance the areas of practice for the Firm.
Anne Cleal
Associate
Anne graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Tasmania in 2017. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2018. She primarily practices in criminal law, however, Anne is currently studying towards obtaining her Masters in family law and wills and estates.Â
Previously, Anne worked in business and customer service roles, while raising her 3 children as a sole parent. Â She is an avid dog lover, and her home has been a warm place to land for many older, homeless dogs.Â
Isabella Duffie
Associate
Isabella is a naturally fearless advocate with the utmost compassion for her clients. She represents as a lawyer who can be trusted with the highest profile and complicated matters to fight aggressively for her clients’ rights and achieve the best possible outcome. She appears daily as an advocate in the Magistrates’ Court for criminal matters, including bail applications, plea hearings, mentions and contest mention hearings.
Having been admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor in June 2023, Isabella has proven herself as an advocate with critical thinking abilities and resolving disputes in a professional and cost effective manner.
In her spare time, Isabella volunteers with Volleyball Tasmania.
